The 24th Foundation Anniversary of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) was observed on 11 September 2025 with due dignity and a formal program aimed at commemorating the University’s establishment and recognizing its ongoing contributions to the nation’s agricultural sector. The event brought together faculty members, administrative officials, students, alumni, and guests.

The program commenced with the national anthem, followed by an inaugural session chaired by the University authority. The opening remarks reviewed the historical background of SAU and highlighted its achievements since its inception. Key speakers emphasized the University’s role in promoting agricultural education, advancing research and innovation, and supporting national priorities related to food security, sustainable development, and technological modernization.

The anniversary program included a commemorative discussion session where participants reflected on institutional development, academic progress, research accomplishments, and community outreach initiatives undertaken over the years. Special attention was given to SAU’s contribution toward capacity building, knowledge dissemination, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
