Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) is organizing a Motivational Workshop on Accreditation in Higher Education on 24 October 2025 to strengthen quality assurance practices and prepare academic units to meet national and international accreditation requirements. Accreditation plays a vital role in enhancing institutional credibility, ensuring academic excellence, and promoting continuous improvement across teaching, research, and administrative processes.
The workshop will focus on building awareness and motivation among faculty members, department heads, and administrative staff regarding the importance of accreditation. Key discussions will include the standards and criteria set by national accreditation bodies, best practices for documentation, outcome-based education (OBE), curriculum alignment, assessment methodologies, and the role of continuous quality enhancement.
Through expert presentations, interactive sessions, and group discussions, participants will gain practical insights into accreditation processes such as self-assessment report (SAR) preparation, stakeholder engagement, evidence collection, data management, and monitoring of quality indicators. The workshop will also highlight how accreditation contributes to international recognition, ranking improvement, institutional accountability, and enhanced student employability.
