Mominul Haque Rabin (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his PhD in Environmental Science from the Department of Environmental Science, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Saitama University, Japan with a scholarship from Japanese Government (MEXT). He completed his Master of Science in Agricultural Chemistry from the department of Agricultural Chemistry, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh with MS fellowship under CP#3645, W-2, AIF(3), HEQEP, UGC, World Bank. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh and received Dean's Award for outstanding academic achievement in different levels of B.Sc.Ag. (Hons) degree program. He does research in environmental science with a special interest in emerging pollutants such as microplastics, persistent organic pollutants (POPs), and toxic elements in environmental matrices as well as crops.
