DR. Tanjila Rahman is a Lecturer in the Department of Anatomy, Histology & Physiology within the Faculty of Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine at Sher‑e‑Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka‑1207, Bangladesh. She completed her BSc. in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (2020) and MSc. in Anatomy (2023), both from Sher‑e‑Bangla Agricultural University.
She is deeply committed to academic instruction and student support, consistently striving to facilitate her students’ academic growth and success. Her scholarly interests focus on cell biology and immunohistochemistry, along with a strong passion for advancing research and academics in her field.
She has demonstrated exceptional academic performance, earning the Dean’s Award for four consecutive years—2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Furthermore, in recognition of her scientific promise, she was awarded the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship for the 2022–23 cycle by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
In a notable recent achievement, she is a recipient of the prestigious MEXT Scholarship for 2025, offered by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology—underscoring her scholarly excellence and her potential for global academic collaboration.
