Sharmin Khatun is a Lecturer with a remarkable academic background in veterinary medicine. She earned her Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry (ASVM) degree in 2018, followed by a Master of Science (MS) degree in 2021, both from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) in Bangladesh. Her career in academia commenced in December, 2023 when she joined as a Lecturer at SAU. But she served the nation about 1.5 year (June, 2022 to December, 2023) as Assistant Director at PMO in Bangladesh. She is constantly committed to her role as a teacher, sharing knowledge to the undergraduate students. Her expertise includes various subjects, including, General and Systemic Medicine; Farm Animal Medicine; Zoo,Lab., Wild and Aquatic Animal Medicine; Zoonoses and Public Health; Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine. Her enthusiastic participation in this project demonstrates her commitment to tackling important problems in the veterinary medical area. Her dedication to expanding knowledge and tackling urgent problems in the field will hasten the growth of the organisation and the larger veterinary community. Research Interest: Infectious & Zoonotic Diseases, Food Borne Diseases, Vector- borne Diseases, Epidemiology, AMR, One Health & Public Health.
