Founder, first teacher, and department chairman of the Department of Surgery and Theriogenology (SUTH).

Dr. Md Rashedul Islam began his career at the Dept. of SUTH in the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (ASVM), Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka 1207, Bangladesh, as a Lecturer in 2014. He later held the positions of Assistant Professor from 2016 to 2021 and Associate Professor from 2021 to date in the same department. He received a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship and a PhD from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Hokkaido University in Japan in 2021. Dr. Islam graduated six months sooner than expected because to his outstanding research accomplishments and accolades. Dr. Islam has an extensive background in the study of animal reproduction.
