Vice Chancellor's Message

It gives me immense pleasure to introduce this web page of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU). As it is known to all that SAU has been established through upgradation of Bangladesh Agricultural Institute (established 1938) it carries a glorious history and reputation. In fact, the graduates of this Institution laid down the very foundation of agricultural and rural development in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is an agro-based country. In order to modernize Bangladesh Agriculture, agri-graduates equiped with modern technical knowledge and skill are essential. Being a new born university it has many limitations. Still Sher-e-Bangla Agriculture University has successfully introduced the course credit system since the academic session 2003.

I sincerely hope that this web page will provide necessary information pertaining to study courses and opportunities of the university.
