Md Meftaul Islam is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Now, he is pursuing PhD in Environmental Remediation under International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (UNIPRS) & UNRS Central Scholarship at Global Centre for Environmental Remediation (GCER), Faculty of Science, The University of Newcastle (UON), Australia. He has completed his Master of Science in Horticulture and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University and achieved Dean’s Award for his outstanding results in undergraduate and master’s level. So far he has published twenty-two (22) research articles in different international peer-reviewed journals. He is a reviewer of more than five peer-reviewed international journals.

Research Interest: Urban Pesticide; Food Safety; Remediation of organic and inorganic contaminant; Urban Agriculture; Plant Nutrition
