Dr. F. M. Aminuzzaman is a Professor of Plant Pathology at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He did his Post-Doc at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), P. R. China, and obtained a Ph.D. from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. As a teacher, his main interest is to educate and motivate the students to understand basic Plant Pathology and perform high-quality research for the betterment of farmers and humankind. Dr. Aminuzzaman participated and presented his research work at many international conferences, seminars, and workshops in China, Spain, India, and Bangladesh. So far, he has published 110 scientific articles in reputed journals including the European Journal of Plant Pathology, Mycopathologia, Archives of Phytopathology and Plant Protection, Phytotaxa, etc. His research mainly focuses on the biological control of plant diseases, biopesticide formulation, emerging crop diseases, wild and edible macrofungi (mushrooms), taxonomy, and molecular biology.
