SAU Web Site Opening Ceremony

Newly designed SAU Web site inaugurated on 14 September at the conference room of the university. Vice Chancellor of Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) Prof. Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam inaugurated the SAU Web site in a simple ceremony attended by Deans, Directors, Chairman of the Departments, Provosts of student Hall, Registrar, Controller, Librarian and student representatives. Vice Chancellor opened the Website by clicking the key on computer. In his inaugural address the SAU VC described the background about the re-designing of the web site and said that through the opening of the Web site the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University is now entered into the list of the world universities. Larger number of people from any corner of the world will get access to detail information about this University. Students will be directly benefitted by using this website to learn about course curricula, syllabus, selection of supervisor, journal, research and residence facilities, admission fees, scholarship, procedure of admission, etc. He thanked all the members of Web site Committee for developing the site within a very short period. The Vice Chancellor expressed his sincere hope that day by day the web site will be getting more informative and attractive.

Razzab Ali, Chairman Entomology & member of the web site committee, Prof. Dr. Md. Sekender Ali, member of Web site Committee, Mr. Ripon Kumar Mondal, Lecturer of Agricultural Economics & member of Web site Committee gave some constructive suggestions for further improvement of the Web site. The function was conducted by Prof. Dr. Md. Sarowar Hossain, convener, Web site Development committee.
